Shahram Addin Shayesteh

Shahram Shayesteh is a trial lawyer and litigator. Prior to coming to Lurie & Park, he practiced for 10 years at the famous law firm of Girardi & Keese (which is known for its work with Erin Brockovich). He has tried over 20 cases to verdict. He has also prepared appellate briefs for and argued over 20 appeals before the California Supreme Court, California Court of Appeal, and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. His representations include:

• In In Re Optical Disc Drive Antitrust Litigation, U.S. District Court Case No. M:10-cv-02143 VRW, assisted in the prosecution of this complex antitrust action involving price-fixing by several manufacturers of optical disc drives equipped in computers, DVD players, and other products.
• In Gitlin v. 3700 Associates, LLC, Nevada Case No. A582669, acted as co-lead counsel in a class action on behalf of 1800 buyers of residential condominiums against the Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino for various violations of real estate laws and contractual obligations.
• Represented Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and obtained confidential multi-million settlement against contractor for negligence in rendering professional services.
• Represented individual against the City of West Hollywood for a dangerous condition of public property and obtained a settlement of $3,100,000 after a jury verdict was rendered in client’s favor.
• Represented individual against an automobile manufacturer for wrongful death caused by a rollover accident and obtained settlement of $850,000.
• Represented individual against CB Richard Ellis in wrongful termination and gender discrimination lawsuit and obtained a $1 million jury verdict.
• Represented commercial real estate developer and successfully defended the client against fraud action brought by seller of commercial real estate project.
