How long does it takes an arbritator to make the decision?

The AAA rules also divest the arbitrator of jurisdiction if the decision is not make within 30 day after the hearing was declared closed. These provisions may vary if the arbitration was administered under a different set of rules. The arbitrator's duty generally will be to determine the merits of the dispute without regard to any insurance policy limits.
