As explained by Pamela Koslyn, there is potential for trademark liability. I would also note that the artistic work in the graphic design of certain logos are also copyrighted. Be especially careful if the logo is well known, such as those belonging to MLB, NFL, sports apparel companies. Many of which have guidelines for licensing trademarks, etc. on their websites.
