DUI---went to court for my arrangement - No record of it on file, called DA - nothing on me. What should I do now?

Asked by a user in Sun City, CA - 10 days ago.

DUI cases are varied and its process is complex. I have had DUI clients waiting for up to 4 months to find out whether or not their case would be filed, it happened because the DA's office had to run a blood test to the lab to screen for drugs which made the process longer. Continue to call the DA's office every couple or three days to see whether or not the case has been filed. while also handling your DMV hearing for your driver's license privilege. If my DUI case get dissmessed in Criminal court, Does DMV Set aside/drop my Case?

Asked by a user in Los Angeles, CA - 14 days ago.

Not necessarily. Regardless of the outcome of your criminal case, you are still subject to the DMV hearing process. The DUI process is highly complex and technical, and not geared toward make things easy for the offender. Understanding the process is important. Having an attorney who has mastered it is essential to get the best possible result from your DMV hearing and DUI case. Lawrence Wolf, Esq. www.only-dui.com
