Case Conclusion Date: January 1, 2006
Practice Area: Car / Auto Accident
Outcome: $1,000,000
Description: Automobile struck and killed a 62-year old woman from Guatemala as she crossed the street to go to the grocery store. The young driver who caused the accident had a small auto insurance policy and claimed he was not working at the time. However, we were able to prove that the driver was actually running an errand for his employer at the time. The employer was therefore legally responsible for the damages caused by the driver. The employer settled for the policy limits of its insurance.
