Received cease and desist letter from Abercrombie, now what?

If the items you purchased were authentic A&F and Hollister items, and you simply resold them honestly on Ebay as A&F and Hollister items -- not as an authorized reseller or dealer -- then I don't think this hypothetical person should respond. A&F and Hollister may be fishing for documentation to go after counterfeiters, and if that is not a problem with this hypothetical person, they should simply ignore the letter.
