Is there any way to be relieved from an error at the trial level in an appeal.

It is difficult to provide a reasonably accurate response without more details. In particular, it is not clear what you have appealed from, although you mention a motion to dismiss. In your subsequent post, it appears you brought an anti-SLAPP motion which was granted but the trial court granted leave to amend. It further appears the opposing side amended their complaint and the case proceeded forward, but to what end? An anti-SLAPP motion may be granted as to all or part of an action. If...
