We maybe facing a lawsuit for personal injury, can they take our home, cars, and personal items?

Asked by a user in San Antonio, TX - over 2 years ago.

You could face personal liability if you have knowledge of previous driving infractions involving your daughter. Also, look out for a negligent entrustment cause of action if the vehicle was registered/owned by yourself. Seek independent counsel, not the insurance company's representative, to advise you and protect your interests.

How to practice law in Missouri after receiving law license in New York

Asked by a user in Saint Louis, MO - almost 3 years ago.

Depending on (1) how long he was licensed to practice in New York, (2) whether his NY license remains active, and (3) a whole host of other issues/factors to be determined your friend may have multiple avenues for practice available to him. See Missouri Board of Law Examiners website for detailed explanation and answers.
