    You should call your local bar association and ask for a lawyer who does 1983 law suits. It will be hard to find someone to take your case on the facts you have described.

    You should talk with the lawyer whom you paid $20k. It is likely that you have no rights against the plaintiff at this time.

    You should see a lawyer who defends debt collection cases. If you do not file a timly answer to the law suit you will be defaulted and likely wind up paying what they claim and a lot more.

    This does not sound like a law suit you would be able to win. without a contract between you and the bus company to provide the service you are complaining was not available it is doubtful you have any rights against the bus company.

    You should make an in person appointment to do what is ever bureaucratically necessary. Then you should do what is requested of you. If you can not get M Lynch to tell you what, or actually let you do what they say you need to do you should see a lawyer.
