The two DMVs talk to one another. Will CO allow an interlock license? Apply to NM DMV and see if they will issue you one. If not you're driving on a revoked which carries far more jail time than a DUI first!

If he does time just for DUI probation violation, the DUI conviction will not prevent renewal of his resident alien card. If they convict him of possession of cocaine he would not only be deported but he would never get his papers back. He may want to turn himself in for the DUI and see what happens. He has little to lose that he hasn't already thrown away Check with an ImMigration lawyer too on how to proceed.

I have a bad feeling about this, namely if you failed to appear for a hearing and they issued a warrant,All time stops until your arrest. They have no duty to serve the warrant and can simply wait until you turn up. Another good source of information is your local bondsman who can look online to see if there's a warrant and if so how much bond you must post to avoid being arrested. If no case file exists, you may end up beating the charge on Speedy Trial grounds. But check first then get your...

The last will governs as both were competent. Your brother should consider your fathers last competent wishes. The power of attorney must be durable to apply during incompetency. Changing deeds while he is alive could make the transfers easier. I'd consult with elder care attorney how to do this, not a social worker

You have been summoned to traffic court for a misdemeanor carrying up to one year in jail. The other lawyers. Who have commented so far seem to forget this obvious fact. Reporting to your insurance carrier only handles the civil monetary liability. Hitting another bumper sounds like careless driving. You are at fault for not avoiding the accident. Honest mistake is no defense. If you plead not guilty and demand a jury trial they will probably end up dismissing because proving their case is...
