  • Left my 2 year old grandson in car asleep for 10-15 min with car running with ac on and car lock it was 74 degree. ????????

No record not even a speeding ticket. my grandsons Mom and dad are going to court with me know I would never hurt or endanger my grandson

    Stephen’s Answer

I agree with the earlier comments. When you typed all those question marks I too thought maybe you had not done anything wrong. I disagree, as did the police officer and likely the prosecutor and judge. Leaving a two year old alone in a motor vehicle with the engine running is criminal neglect. Imagine if the child woke up and took it out of park, or a child molestor decided to break in! Your best approach is humor u, not indignation.

My mother is sick and put up a house on a bond but she needs to off the bond how can she get her property back

    Stephen’s Answer

If your mother posted a property bond with a criminal court to secure your release before trial, your defense lawyer can file a motion to change the conditions of your release. It is unclear what sort of bond she posted.

argument in poker room at Route 66, asked to leave. was outside of poker room on phone and same guy came up to me. we argued some more and i told guy get out of my face and i pushed him. he fell and i started to leave casino and security grabbed...

    Stephen’s Answer

It sounds like you committed simple battery which is touching someone in a rude angry or insolent manner. The officer, not the victim, files the criminal charges and possibly the district attorney prosecutes or possibly an officer prosecution. The jury decides whether you acted reasonably in self defense but getting in your face may not be enough to justify what you did. The charge carries up to six months in the local jail.

It is not criminal fraud if you were working at the time you filled out the application and thought at time you could pay the hundred dollars. Get a job ASAP and get back on track.

  • Is a court date set if an inmate is released after failure to extradite? How many days do they have to extradite?

Criminal nonsupport warrant issued by Potter County, Tx. Aressted in Las Cruces , Dona Ana County, NM on 9-12-14, waived extradition on 9-15-14.

    Stephen’s Answer

I would recommend hiring a family court lawyer who practices in the court that issued the nonsupport warrant and appear voluntarily. Running from the law never pays in the long run.

He should petition his sentencing judge to allow contact with his own children. What would help is a risk assessment from one of our sex offender psychologists. His assessment will be helped by the fact he had no criminal contact in the past.
