Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Michele and I have been colleagues since I started my private practice in the summer of 2009. It has been a pleasure getting to know her better and learning from her. She is very generous with her time and advice for a fellow attorney getting started in the business. Since she practices solely in the area of estate planning, trusts and probate, I refer inquiries from prospective clients about estate planning matters her way, and in return she refers to my law firm people needing help with family law. She has even consulted me on some of my cases that start out as family law and then involve some estate planning. I believe we have a very satisfying, rewarding professional relationship. (And we both like animals, which gives us a personal connection as well.)
