Martin J. Solomon has devoted more than 25 years to representing Arizona families in nursing home abuse, neglect and wrongful death cases. He has handled hundreds of claims involving substandard care in long-term care facilities.
Mr. Solomon and Danielle R. Solomon focus exclusively on cases involving abuse, neglect, malpractice and wrongful death in nursing homes and other long-term care settings. They understand how facilities are supposed to assess residents, plan their care and respond when something goes wrong.
Mr. Solomon and Danielle co-authored The Nursing Home Survival Guide: Getting Better Care in Arizona’s Nursing Homes to make a complicated system easier to understand. They also created AZNursingHomeCompare.com, a database to help families as they decide what nursing home to choose. Information about nursing homes is public, but it is often scattered across government sources and difficult to interpret. Solomon & Relihan created AZ Nursing Home Compare to give Arizona families a clearer place to start. The free tool helps families review available information about staffing, health deficiencies, penalties, ownership, turnover and other indicators. It does not choose a facility for you, but it can help you compare options and ask better questions.
Martin is a former president of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association. In 2025, he submitted written testimony to the United States Senate Special Committee on Aging about chronic understaffing, weak oversight and corporate practices that can place residents at risk.
