Ashley Rahaman has been practicing family law in Arizona since 2010. She is originally from Kansas City, Missouri and still has strong family ties in the Mid-West. While Ashley was completing her law degree as a recipient of a Presidential Scholarship, she was employed as a Deputy Clerk with the Douglas County District Court Citizen Review Board in Lawrence, Kansas. In her role as Deputy Clerk, she worked closely with juvenile court judges to draft orders for Child in Need of Care and Juvenile Offender cases. In this position, she also regularly worked with the Kansas Department for Children and Families, the Kansas Department of Corrections, and the dedicated volunteers on the Citizen Review Board.
It was through Ashley's work as a Deputy Clerk that she developed her adept skills in conducting legal research and drafting, as well as the desire to do volunteer work in the public sector. Ashley's desire to give back to the community is still a driving force as she is a trained CASA Volunteer and an active volunteer attorney with the Family Lawyer's Assistance Program here in Phoenix, Arizona.
In 2008, Ashley relocated to Arizona to complete law school and began work at a Phoenix Family Law Firm. In 2011 she established her own successful private practice. Ashley gained extensive experience negotiating agreements for high-conflict dissolution and child custody cases. Through the course of her legal career, she has earned the respect of her peers with her diligent and principled work ethic. She is a results oriented and settlement minded attorney, who looks for practical solutions to meet her clients' needs.
When Ashley is not busy representing her clients and their best interests, she is spending time with her son and husband. She is also a soloist and cantor for the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in Scottsdale, Arizona.
