Practicing attorney, licensed in Utah and California (inactive), currently operating my own private practice and working as a Deputy Kane County Attorney. I also serve on the Kanab City Council.
Private practice experience: litigation; corporate law; contract review and drafting; estate planning; bankruptcy adversary proceedings; loss mitigation; tax planning and negotiation with the IRS; and more. Prior experience working in a small law firm, the office of general counsel of a large corporation, clerking in a small boutique law firm handling tort and probate issues, working with a Los Angeles prosecutor, externing for a civil court judge, and running a midsize company. Currently, a large portion of my time is spent in government practice, including criminal prosecution.
Received my Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law. Received a Graduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution (emphasis in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration). Graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors in English.
