John D Ray

John “Jack” D. Ray has over 20 years of experience in a practice focused on representing people whose lives have been seriously affected by unacceptable medical care. Jack has served in the Utah Association for Justice, the state’s largest and oldest association of plaintiff’s trial attorneys, as a member of the board and is currently secretary on the Association’s executive committee. He received the organizations “Legislative Titan” award for 2012. He served for 10 years on the Utah State Bar Ethics Advisory Opinion Committee as well as on the Model Utah Jury Instructions Subcommittee for Medical Malpractice. Jack regularly speaks at seminars training other attorneys in the law surrounding medical malpractice claims. In complex cases, he has the option of teaming with other Fabian attorney’s with expertise in the firm’s areas of core competency. Jack has organized and volunteered for several nonprofits focused on the management and conservation of important Utah landscapes, wildlife and related recreation. Jack graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is licensed to practice in Utah’s state and federal courts.
