The first thing to understand about Gentry is that he is a settlement lawyer. He made a careful analysis to find out what our net worth is. After he was able to drain our funds he coldly informed us that we do not have enough money to go to trial, and unless we could figure out how to up with 150k or more, he would be forced to withdraw from the case. He fails to inform that it will cost over 100k to go trial in the beginning because he needs to drain your bank account first.
We feel that this lawyer does not try to defend because his primary goal is to get your money first , lead you down a trail of hope and then get to the ultimate goal which is to settle your case. Settling means he does no real work, just shows up for some quick paperwork.
Sloppy work, pays little attention to detail, jaded, lacks empathy. It is time for this one to retire and find his lost soul.
Its hard to find a good lawyer, I have wasted thousands over the years. Let me tell you why I believe Mr Gentry is the best in town. I had a warrant filed against me for renting a piece of equipment they said i never returned. I called 9 lawyers and they all told me the same thing. That my ONLY OPTION was to go turn myself in at the jail and pay bail($600) and then they could help me once it goes to court. I had a perfectly clean record and couldn't believe it so I kept calling. Mr. Gentry took care of the problem over the phone with minimal effort. Not to mention all the taxpayers dollars he saved by not sending me to court.
From the get go, as his new client Mr. Gentry contracturally restricts dilectical criticism. A commentary identifying my case, problems, and Gentry's performance would expose me to retaliation--lawyers are people with infinite harrassment powers. One prominent lawyer I contacted prior to my Gentry clientage volunteered him as a "good" lawyer. Another vouched for him and considered him a [trustworthy] friend. I believe him to be a excellent, superior, colossal lawyer.
