    Jeremiah’s Answer

I practice in WilCo - and was a former prosecutor.

You should be able to avoid jail time - however, depending on the judge, you may not be given another chance at a deferred.

I would make sure you can pass a drug test, then hire a very good attorney.

my husband got deported & now i need to know how i can get him back, can i apply for a work permit for him??he has some misdemeanor assault charges on his record, will i be able to fix his papers since he was deported??

You'll need to hire an immigration attorney and work on regaining his entry into the U.S. Given what you've posted, it may be very difficult and a very lengthly process.

  • I took a guilty plea 10yrs ago for Conspiracy to commit monetary tranaction federal). how do I go about getting pardon?

I served 6 mos bootcamp, 6mos halfway house, 6 mos home monitor and 2 yrs probation

    Jeremiah’s Answer

The easiest answer is for you to simply hire an attorney who works in federal pardons, then based upon your life events, the crime you served, etc., they can formulate a strategy to achieve a pardon. It's not impossible, but very difficult and very complicated.

You should be able to take defensive driving, which allows for the case to be dismissed & taken "off" your record.

  • Can I get my criminal record expunged or sealed?

I have a theft by check misdemeanor that I paid all fines and fees for from 2005, several class c tickets and a failure to ID that I am currently doing probation for and will be through in Aug 2010. Can I get all these expunged? My record has kept...

    Jeremiah’s Answer

If those cases were dismissed, you will be able to seek an expungement after the statute of limitations expires. You'll need to hire an attorney to get this done, and I would strongly recomend it (as it will hang over your head!)

    Good luck -

  • In Removal proceeding and want to file I-130

Hi; my now-husband entered to US with K1 visa in 2005. He got married to his ex-wife under 90 days, she filed for AOS, they live together for 1 year, then she separated and the immigration interview failed in 2007 they said it was a fraud marriag...

    Jeremiah’s Answer

You need to hire an immigration attorney IMMEDIATELY. Going into a master calendar hearing, without representation, means that you will have little chance of victory.

We do this type of removal work all the time, so if we can help, feel free to give me a call.
