Thank you for the question. If the spouse signed a waiver of service, and has signed the final decree, then in Bexar County, the judges do not ask to see the notice to the spouse. The way its supposed to work is that the spouse is notified of the final hearing for the divorce regardless. On the other hand, if the spouse made an appearance, by submitting an answer, then formal notice need to be sent before the final hearing can be obtained.
