HELPING TEXAS FAMILIES FOR OVER 20 YEARS
- through negotiation, mediation, litigation and appeals -
I have been practicing family law for over twenty years, as well as criminal law, estate planning, and appellate law.
I am also certified and credentialed as a mediator, parenting coordinator/ facilitator, collaborative law attorney, social study investigator (in counties under 500,000) and am a Master's Level Counselor.
During the course of over twenty years, attorneys, family law attorneys particularly, encounter clients who are going through the worst time in their lives. I was involved in such encounter while I was going through one of the worst times In my life, the deaths of my mother and my husband. The "discipline" suggesting caution by this site occurred due to my inability to comply with administrative timeliness from inside of ICU and defend myself against false statements. Realize please that I am human, as you are, and provide me the opportunity to prove to you that I care for my clients as I care for all people. I provide one on one care for your's and my family's needs - despite my own at times!
My "life verse" is: "Trust in the Lord and do good" Psalm 37:3
Allow me to continue doing good by helping you through life's difficulties. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Ms . Nelson was the attorney who helped us when we adopted our son. She was very thorough and explained each step in the process. She arranged the home visit and background checks. She was very detail oriented and the whole adoption went through with no delays or complications. We were very satisfied...

Ms. Nelson did my divorce for me in 2007 and was very prompt at getting everything done. Always kept me in the loop and got my case on the docket as quick as possible. I would most defiantly recommend her on any family case you may have
