Overtime pay is part of your ex's net monthly resources on which child support will be calculated. You're going to have to show a good average over time. Private attorneys are better at handling these situations than the already overworked AG office. I think your ex is just trying to manipulate you. I bet it's not the first time.

This person is doing nothing but being harassing. The police will not get involved as this is a civil matter. You can get a copy of the Temporary order from the district clerk. Don't rely on her attorney for anything. That lawyer has no duty to you.

A withdrawal is not effective until the Judge signs an order granting the withdrawal. Anytime up until that point an attorney may continue to, and I think some would say, an obligation to work the case.

The ex wife's amount will remain the same until modified by a court. The about you receive would depend on the income he had at the time of the divorce. If hypothetically everything were considered and adjusted at the same time or with the same income amounts, your child support should be a small percentage higher.

That depends on what your order says and the degree of necessity of the speech therapy. Is the speech therapy considered medically necessary by the child's physician? If so, then I would suggest that the costs should be split 50/50

I don't agree that a parent should be taking their child to work if there are other alternatives. Kids get bored and need to have a life of their own. There is plenty of time for time at work when the kid grows up to become an adult. The legal question though is has there been a substantial and material change in circumstance that warrants a modification of your current orders. I'm not sure if this rises to that level but it might. Your instinct that writing to the employer has some merit...

As long as your boyfriend's divorce was properly granted by a judge in Texas then the divorce is good. You need to make sure that your boyfriend completed all of the necessary paperwork to accomplish this task. Simply filing for divorce alone is not enough. If I were you I would ask to see a copy of the entire case file to make sure that a final decree of divorce was actually granted and signed by the judge. Otherwise you might end up with a situation where your married to someone that is...

This is really not a Do-it-yourself case. You really need an attorney who can represent you on this one. Good Luck!

You need to hire an attorney as soon as possible and let them deal with getting the continuance. Depending on how long the case has been pending a judge may not grant your request for continuance unless you have an agreement from the other side (and some judges do not even care if there is an agreement or not).
