Scott C. Lannie is a Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction he has held since 1995. He has served the Baytown, Texas community in private practice since 1989, representing clients with a focus on personal injury trial law.
Mr. Lannie earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with Highest Honors, and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law, where he graduated with Honors. While in law school, he was named Best Male Advocate by the South Texas Board of Advocates in 1988 and earned first-place recognition in both the Spurgeon Bell Moot Court Competition and the Administrative Law Competition in Cleveland, Ohio.
Early in his legal career, Mr. Lannie was selected as one of only 18 lawyers to serve as a Briefing Attorney for the Texas Supreme Court during the 1988–1989 term. He was also voted Favorite Attorney in the Baytown Sun Readers’ Poll.
