Thank you

He has handled my case very well and I am completely satisfied with his work and his associates. Could not have asked for a better attorney. Highly recommended

DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!!!!!!!

Mr. Wilson handled my friends divorce and i cannot help but echo the other review on here. He literally charged approx 17,000 dollars and did absolutely nothing. He is why lawyers have the reputation that they have. He was also recommended by a therapist to her as well. After reading the other review... on here, my friend is planning on filing a grievance to the state bar. This is the recommendation from another attorney!

Expensive

Stuart charged $18,000.00 and still going on a simple divorce case with no children because my wife entrusted everything to him. It appears that an average non contested divorce runs about $3500 in the state of Texas. She fired him because we could no longer afford him. Looking into the woman that... referred her we found that the other 2 people she referred were also unhappy and one of them had to drop him too because he doesn't know the difference between your money and his money. $18,000 is ridiculous. your lawyer works for you. Don't be afraid to challenge them and make sure you know what you are paying for.

conflict of interest

During a mediation, Mr Wilson failed to indicate to the other party that the mediator was his long time close friend and colleague in the board of the same religious congregation (one being president, the other VP). The mediation went on for an entire day, without one acknowledging the other, even in... the very first minutes when the mediator asked if there was any knowledge by either party of any potential conflict of interest, between himself and them. Their (quite) intimate relationship was only discovered several months after the mediation was completed (very unsuccessfully for the "other" party).

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education

  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
