And the case was administratively closed after all of the terms of the Consent Decree were met in 2001.

The District Court denied RLEA's application for a preli ... minary injunction. The Fifth Circuit Court of appeals reversed, and the U.S. Supreme Court granted certiorari, and reversed and remanded the case to the Fifth Circuit, which in turn remanded to the District Court. The District Court again denied the application for preliminary injunction and dismissed the RLEA's suit. On appeal, the Fifth Circuit affirmed.
