My appeal is being reviewed by the judges and it's been 5 months since it went before thepanel. How long does a decision take?

There is no way to tell, and no way to tell a delay is good or bad for you. I have had cases where it took over a year for the decision to be rendered.

The Appeals court for Federal courts in Texas is in New Orleans, La (it is called the 5th Circuit). Your best bet is a criminal attorney who does appeals as it will require expertise in criminal law to determine what error occurred in his trial that will be the basis for your appeal. Your question deals more with contract law than employment law. Your contract appears to be an oral contract unless the bonus offer was put in writing in the review. Oral contracts are enforceable in Texas, however they present a couple of problems: 1. Its your word against theirs, though there may be evidence that makes your word more credible. 2.
