I have no idea what is in the boxes ,and now i received a email from supposedly homeland security and they want me to pay them 2,000 up front to let them through
Do not respond or even acknowledge. This is a common scam where a soldier seems desperate and needs help. It is false.See question
Should I hire a military attorney that is near my area for these type of cases?
There are a number of highly qualified civilian attorneys who handle military law cases and you can find them right here on Avvo. Bill Cassara and Phil Cave are two of them. I handle such cases. Don't restrict yourself to only those in your immediate area. Serious military law attorneys travel all across the country (and world) handling all matter of military justice and administrative separations cases. I would avoid those attorneys who appear to just handle military cases on the side. You need someone with real military law experience to handle officer misconduct or officer separations. Your best chance to have a favorable outcome is now, before separation. If your resignation or separation goes south, then you will spend more money and time trying to correct your record or upgrade your discharge later.See question
A judge is facebook friends and possible face to face friends with a party involved in a hearing. The hearing went in favor of the facebook friend. The judge did not disclose this friendship to the lawyer of the other person involved in hearing....
Should the judge have recused himself? It depends. It would have been best if the judge had disclosed this connection. If you (or whoever was a party in this case) had a lawyer at this hearing, that lawyer is the one to ask. Or seek a different lawyer to get this advice.See question
I'm looking for a 33 year old or so Iranian attorney that can guide me through law school while I am attending Whittier Law School on Harbor Blvd. He must be Farsi and know the laws here and in Iran
I recommend you contact the California State Bar and ask them for attorneys who speak Farsi. There are plenty of them out in Southern California. You can also contact the area law schools to see if they have any associations/groups with good contacts, such as an international law association.See question
Like, say, if I trespass, and since I was never arrested, only baker acted, and I'm currently 14, will it count as a misdemeanor?
Your question is very unclear. Trespassing can be either a felony or misdemeanor, depending on the circumstances. You can still be arrested later as long as the statute of limitations has not been exceeded. And even if someone else actually did the trespass and you did not, you could possibly be arrested as an accessory or principal. Your best bet is to go see an attorney and get this advice face to face.See question
