Client was a 79 year old gentleman who underwent bilateral knee replacment. He suffered severe hypoxic event secondary to an NSAID induced gastric bleed two days post surgery. Physician had given twice the recommended dosage of Ketorolac (better known as Toradol)inter-operatively and every 6 hours thereafter resulting in the bleeding.
