Is there a minimum threshold to be met to pay an employee salary as opposed to hourly in Arkansas?

Asked by a user in Little Rock, AR - about 2 years ago.

this is a wage and hour issue and regardless of the salary v. hourly payment, if the employee is nonexempt you must keep accurate records of the time worked. the issue is really whether the employee is exempt under the Dept. of Labor regulations.
