• I hired David more than 3 years ago.
• David handled my Family matter.

Attorney Brown has an inflated opinion of himself. He is condescending and patronizing, given to bouts of deep sighing because he has to explain things to you, the paying client. He considers himself intellectually superior to the attorneys in Lawrence. He has said to me that the Douglas County Judge Pro Tem, who ruled in my favor, "is an idiot". He said to me that my attorney who won that case, "didn't know what she was doing". He said to me that the Child Advocate attorney I used (who is excellent, I have used him on multiple occasions) didn't deserve to be paid and should be reported to the Bar for malpractice. He did not listen to me and was given to bouts of deep sighing and eye rolling. The most egregious thing he did was to rescind the respondent's Motion to Appeal District Pro Tem decision without discussing it with me. He also engaged in inappropriate flirtatious behavior with opposing counsel in front of me and two group home staff members who were also at the meeting. He was not interested in settling my case but in prolonging it in order to continue billing me.
