    Divorced parents bitterly fought for custody of their daughter. One parent hid with the child out of state for more than 2 years. When we finally located and succeeded in bringing the child back, she was an emotional wreck. After 4+ years, the child continues to heal emotionally but will bear the emotional scars of her parents' conflict for a long time, if not forever. As court appointed Guardian ad Litem, I represented the child's best interests in this ongoing case.

    Acted as guardian ad litem for boy who had been living with his aunt for many years when his biological father surfaced and tried to take him back. Father was a convicted felon and recovered drug addict who lived out of state.
