People v J. G.

Wayne E. Brucar

Case Conclusion Date: June 16, 2010

Practice Area: Criminal Defense

Outcome: Plead for a fraction of minimum required time

Description: Defendant was originally charged with 6 counts of first degree murder. After pretrial motions suppressed his statement and limited the evidence the State wished to use for motive, four counts were dropped. We proceeded to trial and after the State's case, defendant was offered and accepted 15 years on discharge of a firearm and conspiracy. His minimum had been 45 years, with no good time to apply to that number.
