Answer,B. there was damage to the powertrain.

Asked by a user in Forest Park, IL - about 1 year ago.

Get a qualified mechanic to back you up with a report and any pictures that help support your position. If the amount is small sue the responsible driver in small claims court. I hope this helps. Joe Klest

My son got hurt at school

Asked by a user in Norridge, IL - 12 months ago.

Depending upon how the incident occurred. If it was an accident the boys parents homeowners should cover a negligence action against the boy who caused the injury. If it was intentional the boys parents might be responsible under the parental responsibility laws. You should consult with an experienced injury attorney as soon as possible. Joe Klest

Can I file a defamation lawsuit by myself or do I need an attorney? The two lawyers I have spoken with want 3,000 upfront

Asked by a user in Springfield, MO - over 1 year ago.

You need a lawyer. My rule of thumb is that if you cant find a lawyer to work on a contingency basis, for a case involving the collection of money for whatever reason, you probably dont have a very good case. If the lawyer thought you had a winning case they should be happy to take the risk of loss right along with you. So my advice is find a lawyer who will work on contingency (for a percentage of the winnings) or forget about the case. If you are willing to throw away money for the...

Asked by a user in Frackville, PA - over 1 year ago.

Yes a Bankruptcy will discharge any dept including a car accident. The only exception is dept from intentional acts and punitive damages from reckless conduct such as driving drunk. Once you are discharged you should be able to get youyr license back if it was suspended for an unpaid judgement

Irresponsible behavior by a physician

Asked by a user in Spokane, WA - almost 4 years ago.

This may be defamation case as well as a violation of the HIPPA laws. You might also want to file a complaint with the agency that licenses doctors in Washington. I would suggest that you hire an attorney licensed in Washington as soon as possible. I am licensed only in Illinois and do not practice law in Washington. The following is a link to an overview of the HIPPA regulations. http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/hipaa/ Good Luck Joe Klest

Incorrect amoxicillin and tylenol dosage prescription for a 3 month old.

Asked by a user in Mcallen, TX - over 1 year ago.

Malpractice cases require a huge financial outlay to prosecute. If your son suffered a serious injury as a result it might be worth pursuing. If he did not suffer an injury it is not worth pursuing

I got injured at a store, because of there negligence, but did not need medical help. Any grounds for suing?

Asked by a user in Buena Park, CA - over 1 year ago.

It seems like a minor matter and not worth the time and effort needed to litigate.
