One of the BEST human being I have ever knon

This man is one of the finest human beings that I have ever known. My own divorce was complex and Steven worked hard to bring a proper resolution that protected my interests.

selfless and caring attorney

Steve and his son are great attorneys. Money isn't a factor when it comes to him helping people get justice. He is one of the few attorneys who don't just do his job for the money. Use Steve minor or his son Steve II if you want some one to steer you straight.

Grateful for Steven Miner!

Steven is a gifted attorney - competent, detailed and thorough. In a profession where moral character can come into question, Steven is an honest attorney seeking justice and a fair outcome. He often stands behind the 'under dog,' those with limited finances, which because of that, have not had fai...r representation or outcomes with the legal system. Our case is one of those. Steven is helping my husband and I 'level the playing field' with regard to child support and associated expenses. To gain justice in the midst of lies, misrepresentation, and badgering on the other side. We are grateful for his character, his experience and his expertise, all of which are helping us meet only our legal obligations and move forward.

Great Referal from the community

I am a fellow Barrington resident and many from the community had said to use Steven because not only of convience but due to his attentiveness. I am not very knowledgeable about the law other than the basics and he was able to guide me through my divorce with ease. I had many questions along the w...ay that many other lawyers would have said were silly but Steven did not. Due to my work schedule, I do not work a typical 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday. Whenever I had questions I emailed or called Steven day or night. He returns emails within 24 hours at the latest and always returns phone calls as soon as he can. Another nice thing was that no matter how many times I called him or emailed him I was never charged. I had gone to get a quote from another attorney downtown and right away there was a fee for phone calls and minute break downs for fees. I really appreciated that he does not charge for this service and makes himself availbe 24/7 unlike other attorneys. Also, since his office is based out of his home I felt more at ease about my situation from how comfortable he made me feel and meeting him was more convient than having to go downtown where other friends of mine had recommended me going. He is also a one man show. He returns, answers, and types all of his cases. Since there is no middle man, he really knows the case and gets to know exactly what you want out of your situation. In my case I was able to stay in my house and have my kids during the week as I wanted. He really understood what I wanted and how important my children are to me. His knowledge of the law goes far beyond family law. He was also able to help me with a few driving tickets and issues that my kids had with the law too from curfew violations.I thought that getting a divorce would have been hell but with his help I was more at ease and left having less horror stories than many of my girlfriends. He redefines the sterotype of what it is to be a lawyer. He shows that lawyers are human too and for those that take the time and care like he does about each case, having to hire a lawyer is not bad. Like many I thought the worst thing I would ever have to do was hire an attorney but Steve made everything so simple I could not have been happier with how things went.
