Paul Dennis Pusateri

     Mr. Pusateri is a cum laude graduate of the Capital University Law School (1977) and Ohio Wesleyan University (1974)  He is a career criminal defense lawyer who has handled cases is 59 of Ohio's 88 counties, all federal courts in Ohio as well as the District of Minnesota and the Southern and Western Districts of New York.  He has represented clients on appeal matters in eight of Ohio's twelve appellate districts, the Ohio Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

     Mr. Pusateri has defended approximately 15 clients on trial for their lives, has never had a client sentenced to death, and has obtained acquittals in approximately a dozen murder cases.  He has defended such high profile cases as the "Handcuff Rapist," the "Shower Posse," the "Queen Bee," "Queen Bee II," Sheriff Richard Petty, lightweight contender Virgil McClendon and more.

     Active in the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Mr. Pusateri has been a factulty presenter at various seminars on such topics as "Winning with the Coroner,"  "Traffic Stops and the Fourth Amendment," "Finding, Utilizing and Paying Experts" and more.  He has been featured twice in Columbus Monthly magazine, in the Wall Street Journal, was a contributing author to the Ohio Death Penalty Manual, and been published in the Capital University Law Review.

    Mr. Pusateri belives deeply in the importance of what he does.  He does not want to live in a country where the government can take the liberty of one of its citizens without presented sufficient evidence subject to vigorous questioning, and neither do you.
