We have been working with Richard on a very long, difficult, and complicated custody case, and I cannot imagine there is a better lawyer out there. He is smart, strategic, and knows the process backwards and forwards. He models fairness and reason, even when that is hard to embrace as a client. He is respectful to other parties and respected in return. In the end, he gets results that are fair and, more important, in the best interest of the child. You want him on your side when you are in the midst of a custody case.

Richard is able to handle complicated family law situations, and can often find a solution, even when the other party is unreasonable and emotions are frazzled. He is very knowledgeable and respected in the Dane County family law community and the courts.
