Told to hold paycheck, then paycheck would bounce. Some employees have 4 checks not cashed!

You could file a wage claim with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. The employer will not be pleased, but the DWD should be able to help you. Here is the link: http://www.dwd.state.wi.us/er/labor_standards_bureau/who_may_file_a_wage_claim.htm

Wife retained a lawyer for seperation/divorce. Papers have not been filed with state. Can I place our second home up or sale

Asked by a user in Madison, WI - almost 3 years ago.

It sounds as though your wife has already signed a seller's agency agreement and is in agreement that the house should be sold. If your wife signs an Offer to Purchase, the divorce action should not pose much of an obstacle to the sale of the house. The issue would likely be how any proceeds should be split.

I own a house and land. My fiance has no assets. Should I get a prenup to protect my assets?

Asked by a user in Star Prairie, WI - almost 3 years ago.

Given the information you have provided, I think it would be a good idea for you to contact an attorney in your area about a prenuptial agreement.
