    Description:
    Mr. Dittberner was charged with homicide of his baby son. The state's medical experts claimed the baby died of shaken baby syndrome. I brought in doctors from around the country to testify on the defendant's behalf. The jury deliberated for one week but ultimately returned a not guilty verdict.

    Description:
    The defendant was serbian. The police department did not attempt to locate an interpreter when giving the defendant his informing the accused rights. He was found not guilty at trial of operating while intoxicated but guilty of a prohibited alcohol concentration. On appeal, the Court of Appeals reversed and ultimately the District Attorney dismissed the case.
  • United States v. Fidel Robles

    Description:
    This was a prosecution on a 4 kilo of cocaine drug case. There was an improper search done of the home Mr. Robles was visiting. A motion to suppress was denied by the trial court. On appeal, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals reversed and ruled that the search was illegal.

    Ms. Gallman was charged with a number of crimes relating to suspected abuse of her children. She always maintained her innocence and swore that her daughters were exaggerating her discipline. The trial lasted for three days - Ms. Gallman was acquitted in three hours.

This was a case of serious misconduct by deputy sheriffs and police abuse to my client.

    My client was charged with 1st degree murder of his infant cousin. The allegation was abusive head trauma, formerly known as shaken baby syndrome and was a death penalty case. The case lasted 6 years and involved very complicated medical issues. After a 4 week trial and producing many expert witnesses on his behalf, the jury found him not guilty.
