The short answer is probably not. There are variables. The police may have handed the information over to the county prosecutor, or may still be investigating, or may have given up and closed the matter. They may tell you if you ask them, but they do not have to. It might help to retain an attorney, on a pre-charge basis to act as an intermediary between you and the police/prosecution. I would be happy to discuss this matter with you further if you have further questions.

If you are finished with an assessment and any required programming or courses, it is possible. Pay all of your fines, then request early release from your probation agent. Our local judges are unlikely to permit it, if your agent disagrees. Good luck.
Based on the facts provided in your question, this incident should not impact your driver's license. It is always a good idea to consult with an experienced attorney when facing criminal charges. I have experience representing individuals in Dickinson County, and would be happy to discuss this matter with you further. You can contact my office to schedule a free initial consultation, or a telephone conference. (906) 228-0001. -Scott Brogan
It really depends on what the police have been told, or otherwise have learned and believe. If you were not involved, and had no knowledge of the crime, unless someone has falsely incriminated you, you ought to be safe. Knowledge of the crime, and passive consent, or use of the stolen goods could be a seperate criminal activity.
Please consider contacting an attorney to discuss this matter before you take any futher action.
It may be decided by the parties by agreement, or if there is a serious dispute, a court may be asked to decide the issue while the case is pending. Some parties live together while the matter is pending. It really depends on the circumstances. If you have serious safety concerns about living together, a court is more likely to get involved before a final hearing. Feel free to contact me if you need more assistance. I do provide a free initial consultation.
These are complicated matters. You are entitled to hearing on this issue, and the mother will need to prove the move has the capacity to improve the life of the child. I strongly suggest you find a way to retain an attorney.
It sounds like your friend is paying more support than he ought to, but the order for custody/parenting time does not reflect what is really happening. It also seems like the Judge did not believe your friend's testimony. He may need better evidence of what is actually happening. This could be developed with help from a lawyer. I would be happy to talk with him about this, and I do offer a free initial consultation.
