    Description:
    Plaintiff worked for a truck loading company at the Meijer's Distribution Center.. He was struck by a hi low operated by a Meijers employee and pinned between his walk behind loader and the hi low resulting in the loss of his leg, below the knee. the defendant unsuccessfully argued the claim was barred by workman compensation and that he actually had two employers. The defendant also argued that Plaintiff was also at fault for moving into the path of the hi low. There was low grade security video which actually showed the incident, and that defense was also weak. Case settled shortly before trial.
