Richard M. Miettinen

Practice in the areas of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures (domestic and international), corporate, partnership law, real estate, health care, business law, commercial law, contracts and finance law.  Served as lead counsel in negotiating and documenting hundreds of business transactions in numerous industries throughout the world. Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating all types of business contracts. Served as an interim general counsel for clients, and advised members of management on all aspects of corporate, business, commercial, contract, finance, employment and real estate matters. Significant experience in representing various health care providers and advising them on health care and business law issues.

Admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1985 and a member of its sections on Business Law, Real Property Law and Health Care Law. Member of the American Bar Association and its sections on Business Law and Health Law. Serves the community by, among other things, serving on the Boards of Directors of the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers.
