DO NOT HIRE... We hired this firm and was directed to one of his lawyers to handle our case. We were involved in an accident in a southern state on vacation. It ruined our vacation and we struggled to deal with the claims adjuster from the other insurance company just to get back to Ohio. After we hired him it took almost two years to settle. The attorney working our case was incompetent, failed to communicate and bowed down to the insurance company. In all after almost $6,000 in medical bills we walked away with $4,300... Somebody in that office cant do the math nor do they care to. In when the attorney gave the counteroffer to me from the other insurance company, I asked him what our next step was.. he said "I guess I can ask her if she will go higher". DO NOT HIRE... all they care about are their fees and if its not a big case with a big payout they will drag it out with poor results.
I strongly recommend you do not hire this man. I am a current client as soon as he realized the insurance company would not settle immediately he lost all interest in my claim I have now been shuffled to the 3rd attorney at his firm who I have yet to speek with despite several attempts it takes on average 6 phone calls to speek to his case manager let alone blake who I hace not spoken to in over one year. I have repeatedly requested copys of my file be mailed to me to no avail.
I repeat please do not hire this man you will have much more of a runaround than any insurance company can give you!!!
Final count ding ding Flo wins by knockout
I was in a serious car accident in 2012 and could have died. I had 3 operations from my accident due to my lungs collapsed and broken ribs. I feel he gave me false hope. I started with another attorney in his firm and that is who I signed with, was very happy with him, however in the end of the day (his company), Blake took my case over and did a demand letter, The attorney I hired left the firm. In my heart I don't feel Blake really knew what was going on with my case just by certain things I would asked about , he did not seem to know and this was things in my file there . The insurance company was a better fighter for his client. My car was totaled and I was hit on the expressway daylight, dry conditions, the speed limit was 65 rear ended and ,had I not gotten to hospital in time I would have died the emergency doctor said due to the collapsed lung, had to do surgery right away or would have died
When to this law firm in hopes of being treated fair and treated with respect and did not get either. The law firm and my doctors got paid more than I did. Try to settle the claims yourself, you are better off. Don't be like me and wait almost a year for a $4,000 pay off. Not worth it when the lawyer gets paid $4,500 of your money.
Me and my two young daughters were in a hit and run accident in 2006. I went to Blake to see what compensation I could get from my insurance company and two years later, I got around $4,000 or less. My oldest was hurt, my car was totalled, I ended up paying the difference of $5,000 for a car I no longer had and he got his $2,000 and called it a day. I know I deserved more and should have gotten more. I was passed on to another legal person in the place and I never had contact with Blake again. I felt like I was unimportant and didn't matter. I would never use or recommend his services to anyone. Even though I was suing my own insurance, I still deserved to at least have my losses covered. I think my case was just annoying and not juicy enough to put any real effort into getting what I deserved.
