    From a legal stand point, there is nothing you can do because you our bound by the contract to purchase the vehicle. I would recommend the following: 1. pay off the contract early, as long as no fees. 2. wrap the remainder of the loan into another loan to purchase. 3. If you have line of credit, pay off the contract. You are at the mercy of the contract for which you signed.

    Answering your first question. The judgment against your husband most likely has to be satisfied by your husband. If the x has not paid yet, it is likely she will not pay any time soon. The judgment will ruin his credit. His best course of action is to pay the judgment himself, then take the x-wife back to domestic court to have her reimburse him for the money he outlayed for purposes of the judgment.
