Worst mistake I ever made !!!

This review is my opinion of Jill's performance. It in no way is stating facts of her skills or knowledge as an Attoney. Nor is it an attempt to take business away form her.

From what I understand from our first meeting I was happy to hire her and give her the required retainer. However, this review is how things progressed through the process.

From my understanding I was told one thing and little by little things changed. I feel that she told me what I wanted to her to get my retainer. Again, this is just my understanding of the situation. I would personally never recommend jill her to anyone. In my opinion it was one of the worst mistake I've made. I really never felt like she understood my sons and my side. It was a Constant battle with her for the second she received my retainer. I should have obtained a new attorney but I didn't, I wish I had. All I can say is I wish I would have never met her.

    Was a good experience

Very helpful. I Hired her after I fired my first lawyer. She helped me in my divorce step by step. Very knowledgeable. Kept me informed. Was able to reach a good deal. I really appreciate her work. I highly recommend Jill.

    Not worth it

Jill was nonresponsive and overpriced. I wish I had gone with a more inexpensive attorney that would have provided me easily with the same level of service and knowledge. Save your money.

    Over priced

She represented me in my divorce two years ago. I thought based on the firm, her high price and big office over looking the lake that she would be well qualified. I guess I learned an expensive lesson. Not only did she milk me out of a ton of cash the decree was written so poorly that I am still back in court with my Ex because she failed to protect me. She is a joke and not worth half of what I paid her. I should have just thrown half of what I paid her out the window and kept the other half and then represented my self. I would have been better off

    Not worth the Money

Helman represented me in divorce action. My ex offered to settle 2-3 times and she insisted on continuing to fight. Long story short it ended up costing me about $12,000 more in attorney fees and nothing better than what was offered in settlement. Maybe she's just too busy but she was slow to return calls. She's not worth the money or attitude.
