Chapter 7 bankruptcy, automobile title, auto exemption

Asked by a user in Cleveland, OH - over 3 years ago.

You could ask the credit union what remains to pay on the vehicle, and offer that in exchange for the title. If they won't accept that, there's not much more to do, as the credit union's security interest is still valid, even though they can't go after you on it.

This is an order to the pension plan administrator of each plan as to how to sequester the various portions. Such...

Ohio child custody laws

Asked by a user in Ohio - over 3 years ago.

It sounds like there has been nothing filed on the child in Louisiana, so the Ohio court that granted the original custody decree would still have continuing jurisdiction, The hard part is going to be getting her served, and actually getting the child back in Ohio. I wouldn't worry about filing until such time as you get possession of the child, or you have evidence that the child is in real actual physical danger.
