My company says I am exempt from overtime and wants me to sign a job description stating that.

You are correct. Being paid a salary does not automatically mean that you are not entitled to overtime. The key question is whether your duties fit within one of the FLSA's exemptions. Your description of your job indicates that you are not exempt from overtime as a bona fide executive employee. That said, there may be another exemption that applies to you. You should talk to a wage and hour lawyer to be sure.
