After years as a legal and business executive of leading fintech companies, including the last 3 as a General Counsel (and, Head of Product and Chief Operating Officer), I launched Gibson Counsel to bring senior, strategic legal counsel to technology companies that need it.

Gibson Counsel serves as fractional General Counsel for technology companies, SaaS businesses, and AI startups. The practice is built around one premise: the right legal strategy is a competitive advantage, one that is a growth accelerant for the companies that invest in it.

I work directly with founders, executives, and in-house legal teams on AI governance and contracts, technology transactions, trademarks and brand protection, product and IP counsel, and M&A legal strategy. Engagements are structured to match the client's needs, whether that is ongoing fractional GC coverage, targeted project work, or transaction support.

I have been at the forefront of AI legal issues since 2018, advising on AI governance and negotiating AI contracts. Beyond the legal seat, I served as Head of Product and COO where i led multiple teams of more than 100 employees, including teams of AI data scientists, product managers, consultants, and implementation professionals. That operating experience helps me bridge legal, business, and technology effectively.
