I practice in Pasco County and I will be honest with you, you will have a hard time finding someone to do what you want. You labeled it a 'battle', which means there is high conflict in the case. Since you do not qualify for legal aid, they have determined that you can afford to hire an attorney. I have never heard of such a thing. Support terminates when the Parent dies! (That is why a Life Insurance Policy should be in place to cover any loss of support). If arrears are still owed, the estate may be responsible but the new wife usually never plays a part. I do not think we have enough facts here to even begin to answer.

I am a local attorney in your state and I can give you an answer. He/she will weigh the evidence and make a written...
