I would say that the majority of lawyers will always put the needs of their clients first. However, just like anything else in life, there will always be a group of wrongdoers.

You should definitely talk to a Florida personal injury lawyer immediately. Also, it is very important that you go to a doctor ASAP for two reasons: First, in Florida you must receive medical treatment within 14 days of your accident or your auto carrier can deny your no-fault (PIP) benefits. Second, any gaps in treatment may be used against you by an insurance company to bolster their claim that you aren't injured. As far as your wife is concerned, she should document her physical...

Your daughter would only be eligible to receive the 10k in PIP benefits from vehicle 2. If your daughter has health insurance benefits she should notify her health insurance provider of possible future claims. Please keep in mind that your daughter will likely accrue medical bills outside of these coverages (PIP only pays 80% up to 10k and most health insurance will have a deductible) and she should contact a Florida personal injury attorney to discuss the possibility of pursuing this matter...

Based on the facts you provided, it does not appear that your husband would need to hire a criminal attorney for this matter. However, I would highly recommend that he contact a Florida personal injury attorney immediately. As far as damages are concerned, you do not have to wait for the criminal action to end before making a claim for damages. In fact, you should contact your car insurance company as soon as possible to file a claim for the damages to your vehicle, file a claim for PIP...

Based on the amount of money offered ($110,000) and the short amount of time in which it was offered, it sounds as though the Bodily Injury carrier (and likely the Uninsured Motorist carrier) have tendered their policy limits. If that is the case, your attorney should check to make sure that the at-fault party doesn't have any additional assets or coverages to access. If you end up accepting the offered amount, your attorney will work to significantly reduce your medical bills.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. At this point, the best thing you can do is gather all of the medical records related to your baby and your pregnancy. Also, if you sought medical treatment for any other issues during your pregnancy, you should gather those records as well. Once you have the records, you should contact a Florida medical malpractice attorney in your area. After reviewing the medical records, your attorney will be able to conduct a proper investigation into this matter...

Pursuant to Florida No-Fault Law, in order for an injured party to receive compensation for "pain and suffering," they must prove that they have suffered a permanent injury. Otherwise, compensation is limited to medical bills, lost wages and property damage (economic damages). The best way to determine the permanency of your injuries is to seek treatment from a qualified medical provider. I would highly recommend you employ the services of a Florida personal injury attorney in this...

I agree with the previous answers of my colleagues. Also, keep in mind that the "minimum" insurance you speak of ($10,000 PIP/$10,000 PDL) is only the minimum to REGISTER a vehicle in Florida. The Financial Responsibility Law requires you to also carry $10,000 in Bodily Injury coverage at the time of any motor vehicle accident involving injuries. If you are deemed at-fault for a motor vehicle accident with injuries and do not carry this coverage, you may have your license suspended for up to...
