Bellehumeur v. A.G. Edwards, et al.

Walter Andrew Clayton Jr.

Case Conclusion Date:October 16, 2006

Practice Area:Arbitration

Outcome:$1.2 million plus attorney fees

Description:This case involved a theft of client funds by their broker at A.G. Edwards. The broker persuaded these clients and other customers to invest in a scam entity known as All School Kids. A.G. Edwards discovered the unlawful sale of investments in this entity and fired the broker, but never warned his subsequent employer or any of his victims of the unlawful activity. Consequently, our clients continued to lose even more money at the broker's subsequent employer. We recovered 100% of their actual losses plus interest, plus all of their costs as well as their attorney fees. The broker went to jail.
