A. Renee Pobjecky is a partner in the law firm of Pobjecky & Pobjecky, LLP, in WinterHaven, Florida, where she focuses her practice on a variety of immigration issues and represents immigrants before the Immigration Courts in Orlando and Miami.
She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science and minors in English and Business Administration. In 2001, she received her juris doctorate from Baylor University School of Law.
Mrs. Pobjecky is a member of the International Section of the American Bar Association and is active in the Winter Haven Women’s Bar Association. She currently serves on theBoard of Director’s for the Polk County Florida Rural Legal Services and was a 2006 and 2008 recipient of the Pro Bono Attorney Outstanding Participation Award from Florida Rural Legal Services and the Lakeland Bar Association.
She has been a guest speaker at the 2008 annual conference for the Central Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a judge at the 2009 International Jessup Moot Court Competition.
Mrs. Pobjecky has been appointed by the Florida Supreme Court to serve a three-year term on the Florida Bar Standing Committee on the Unlicensed Practice of Law.
She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Texas.
