Unless judge speciifes which is very unlikly, if you are represntred by a lawyer you do not need to be at your arraingment.

Sometimes you are better off getting your lawyer to get just a fine and a withold. PTI often includes a 3-6 month probationary term and drug testing etc maybe community service. In clearwater they dont distinguish between post pti and post withold-both can be sealed off your record, so I personally dont reccomend pti for a misdemeanor in pinellas, any questions call me at 727 344 5511

Checking your points is critical, however if your vop is based on a technical on not on a new charge, remember the judge has total discretion and you dont need departure reason ( there are a few exceptions-such as a violent offender of special concern for example).
